Akzidenz Grotesk Font
About Akzidenz Grotesk Font
Akzidenz Grotesk Font had first been released by Berthold in 1898. Its style was initially known as "Accidenz-Grotesk" and was based on Ferdinand Theinhardt's Royal Grotesk lamp.
Its normal, strong, as well as robust sizes also were provided more by the Theinhardt developer, which eventually amalgamated with Berthold.
Günter Gerhard Lange, who was the creative director of Berthold first at the time, started a project to expand the font and size in the 1950s, including a bigger simple text but keeping each of the quirks of the 1898 face.
As a multi-purpose typeface, this font boasts an eye-catching touch and is a favorite among designers. Whenever you want to add some texture to your content, use this font.
Some of the stylings of this typeface work well when used for writing captions. In addition, this typeface is suitable for on-screen and display projects.
